Biography

Orest Sedun was born 22 April 1939. Sedun grew up in Winnipeg's North End, attending Gordon Bell High School. Following graduation Sedun pursued his dreams of becoming an architect by attending the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba. His first position after leaving school was with the firm of Moody Moore & Partners (MMP). Sedun would later become a partner with the office of McFeetors Tergesen Sedun Architects, before returning to MMP to assume the role of managing partner. In addition to his architectural work, Sedun loved and played many sports, including baseball, hockey, football, curling, golf, squash and fishing. Sedun was also a Rotarian and a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity.
