St. Emile is a small school serving elementary students from kindergarten to Grade 8
The older section of the complex is mainly obscured from the street by a large gym wing that dominates the view from both cross streets, but beside it is a lower academic wing that is mainly L-shape in plan and grew in three small segments
On the north end and closest to the street is the brick end of the oldest section, perhaos six or eight classrooms, with an addition for a new entry on the south end and another small bit beside it
Estimated at construction in the 1960s, the original windows have been removed and the walls partly filled; all windows on the east side were covered by the newer gym wing
St. Emile is operated by a church of the same name beside; it has a fenced grass yard on the west side and a play structure and swings there
