Design Characteristics

Suburb:Margaret Park, Seven Oaks East
  • It is a single storey, with the exception of the gym wing, built wide across its lot with the gym wing on the south end
  • Its dominant feature is an over-sized mansard roof covered in what looks to be large wood shingles that makes up about a third of the wall space, with the remainder faced in pale limestone
  • Windows are restrained and plainly trimmed with white metal except for large windows flanking the main entrance; side transoms augment the large glass doors for an inviting and airy space
