1808 Main Street is a sturdy looking presence on Winnipeg's North Main Street, adding a Brutalist touch to this neighbourhood's central thoroughfare with its heavy-looking Tyndall limestone east facade. The building was erected for J. W. Bodner Co. Ltd., a plumbing, heating, ventilation and fire-protection firm which at one point had as many as 150 employees.
