  • Building designed in two distinct sections, possibly to allow classes to begin in the academic section while the gym and shops facilities at the rear were still under construction
  • Exterior angular and finished with limestone facing and cream stucco that mixes textures in a single colour theme
  • Near windowless design with some open-air classrooms (originally) grouped around a 'pit' informal assembly area of carpeted stairs; gym on the north side
  • School has good integrity and has had few external alterations
