2 Valley View Drive won the architect the Canadian Home Journal’s Centennial Awards for Residential Design gold medal. A frame and stucco dwelling, modest in scale and costing only $35,000 to construct, the Centennial Home was pure Gaboury: varying roofline, windows raised to track winter sun and direct radiant heat into private spaces, a dramatic entrance and a flowing layout.
